Introducing our integration with ADP Workforce Now®

Today, we’re excited to announce that ADP Workforce Now® has joined our growing list of fully integrated payroll partners. ADP Workforce Now offers an affordable solution for growing businesses that quickly and accurately processes payroll and equips your employees with anytime, anywhere self-service access to their information.

For businesses that use ADP Workforce Now, the integration transfers information from ADP to Guideline, making 401(k) contributions automatic and eliminating the need to manage employee enrollment and send payroll contribution reports every pay period.

The integration relieves you of many administrative burdens of the plan, allowing you to spend time focusing on what’s most important: your business and its employees. Having your payroll integrated directly with your retirement plan also reduces unnecessary errors, which in the end leads to a lot of wasted time.

We’re proud to welcome ADP Workforce Now alongside other partners like Gusto, Square Payroll, Zenefits, Rippling, and OnPay that are doing their part to make contributing to a retirement plan easier than ever before.

The benefits of having integrated payroll with Guideline go beyond convenience. In fact, our data indicates that employee participation in retirement plans is slightly higher when payroll is integrated.

Almost 90 percent of Guideline plans are integrated with a payroll provider, and of those that are, the average participation rate is 84%, compared to non-integrated plans, which have an average participation rate of 81%.*

But to be clear, businesses who use other payroll providers or services can still enjoy an easy, affordable 401(k) through Guideline. If you have questions about what will be required to sync Guideline with your payroll provider, please email us at hello@guideline.com to get answers from a specialist.

Methodology

*We studied employer-sponsored 401(k) plans that were Guideline clients as of March 9th, 2019. Participation rate is defined as the fraction of employees having access to plans that participate in them.
