Notice to Clients of Identity Verification Requirements

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all US financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, Gusto Brokerage, LLC will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow identity verification. You may also be asked to provide identifying documents.

For accounts held at Benefit Trust Company (BTC), a third-party service provider, BTC acts as custodian for the assets held in such accounts. For accounts held at Gusto Brokerage, LLC, an affiliated broker-dealer registered with the SEC and a member of FINRA and SIPC, Gusto Brokerage, LLC acts as custodian for the assets held in such accounts. For IRAs, Forge Trust Co., a third-party service provider, acts as IRA custodian and the IRA assets are held in a Gusto Brokerage, LLC brokerage account.
